December 26, 1957

25° above at 5:30 A.M.
Cloudy all day Rain started 3:30 P.M.
Temp. +43° at 4:00 P.M. – Broken piston in
Int. Loader truck – +47° at 8:00 P.M. Real Bad
Night Out, Wind from S.E. strong and raining hard.
Sid. Webster was in about a tree on light line
called CMP and NET&T. Really rough out Rain
and High South wind Temp +50° 10:30

December 25, 1957

Christmas Day 1957 – No snow
on ground any where.
Temp at noon 38° above.
Beautiful sunny day.
Tom lost key to this diary
in green rec chair.
Very little frost in ground. Tom and I
cut at my next winters wood in A.M.
Planed a little 4″ lumber for Cox in P.M.
