I’m considering trying an APRS transmitter for use in backpacking, to possibly replace my SPOT messenger. Many of the places I backpack are covered by repeaters, so it would be a fun “free” location spotter! I plan to try on my upcoming trip to Capitol Reef National Park. Below is a map that should update with my position when available.
