Well, I guess only a dog can do this. I took this picture in the dark, and didn’t know Anna was licking the top of her nose! The new camera does a very nice job taking nighttime photos. So far I’m very happy with it.

Um, thanks, “Administrator”. And I tried to lick the top of my nose, but I can’t do it either. Oh well. Some talents I guess only cows and Annas have. 🙂
Our daily veterinary insight! Thanks Eventer. Can anything else lick the top of its own nose? I know I can’t!
Actually, cows can do that tongue trick too! And her blank stare is her tapetal reflection. The tapetum is the super shiny part of the retina that reflects even tiny amounts of light to help animals see better at night. We don’t have them, which is why we can’t see so well in the dark. . . 🙂
Random veterinary medicine lesson for the day. 🙂
Awww… cute! I sure never thought I’d be a dog person and now I seem to love EVERYONE’S. 🙂 I guess I just appreciate them now.
Glad to hear you’re liking your camera. Mine is the opposite – it takes dark pictures even in the day. Not so good. 😉
And look at those eyes! A blank stare 🙂 Still, a good photo for being taken in the dark! Anna is such a girl, all dressed in purple 🙂
