Bluegrass Banjo

Aria Bluegrass Banjo
I have been taking professional banjo lessons for the past few weeks, and so far I’m having a great time with it. So far I play a mean “Skip to my Lou,” and my “Old McDonald’s Farm” is coming along quite well. It will be a while before I challenge anyone to dueling banjos. I’ve also started Contra dancing, which is a fun activity where I can hear good bluegrass music being played, and where my two left feet don’t stand out so badly.

Wow, I can’t believe you’re getting into dancing! It’s fun, no? I mean, probably not as fun as salsa, but hey, we can’t all be that special. . . ;)

Oh, your mama is SOOOO happy to know you’ve not only TRIED contradancing but that you REALLY LIKE IT and will continue to go… Can’t wait to go to a dance with you! (and maybe by the time I make it out there, we can do a nice duet of whatever you’re working on with the banjo :)
