I started yesterday off at the “Run San Ramon.” Wendy and I ran the 5k race, and Erin did the 10k. This is the first race I’ve run since high school, and I managed a 6:40 min/mile overall. Not bad for starting in the back of the pack. Luckily the race was at 8am, because by noon it was 106 degF in the shade! Last night we had a bbq, then rode bikes over to the San Ramon fireworks show.

There are two things that are great about this photo… One is the smiling face of my boy, and the other is, having been in Danville and in particular on Mission Place, I can really appreciate and know how things are there! I KNOW the backyard!
