We tent camped this weekend at Julia Pfeiffer Burns S.P. in Big Sur. It was pretty foggy all weekend. Not too much to report on. We camped with Megan, Frank, Patrick, Katherine, Lane (4 months old), and Lisa. Lane might be the most well-behaved baby I’ve ever met. He smiled all weekend!

Only in GA and AL (I hope!) could the state governors be stupid and absurd enough to ask citizens to pray for rain!

Just another evening in Danville, gettin ready for a Friday night kickball game.

We had an awesome trip to Rocky Mountain National Park and the surrounding areas over the weekend. Our planned trip was for a 3 day backpacking adventure. After reaching the Boulder Field campground Saturday night, in the dark, we started making plans for a more relaxing weekend. Sunday morning started off with intense headaches, freezing temperatures, and no water! We boiled some nasty tasting snow, popped some Advil, broke camp and made it down the mountain in a fraction of the time it took going up.



Sunday evening was spent is Estes Park at the Silver Moon Inn, in a king size bed with bellies full of elk steak and ribs! What a luxury after winter camping! Today we drove Hwy 34 through Rocky Mountain N.P., stopping along the way for whatever. All the pictures from the trip are at Picasa
